U2 // Turin

I tweeted about heading to Turin and working for U2 - it sparked a wee bit of interest so I thought I'd explain a little further...
Andy Willsher got hired to shoot the gig later tonight in Turin (and the previous sound check's) - Andy kindly asked me to come with him to edit his pictures live from tonights gig. OF course, I was quite excited and took him up on the offer. Then the bands PR asked me to bring my camera gear and shoot the sound check last night alongside Andy.
It was a blast. The band played through about 5 or 6 tunes, stopping to talk about set idea's and changes etc in between. It was a total honour to be witness to what felt like a private performance. Especially at the end when the band turned off the PA and played a new song acoustically, apart from crew there was literally no one else there but me and Andy.
I've loved U2 since I was 16 and Achtung Baby first came out, so last night was a total buzz.
I really want to post a shot of what it looked like with just Andy and the band in shot. But they have to go through approvals first, as soon as I can get one up I will...
